Hezbollah Decides to Back Syria

The "Party of God" has given its support to the Syrians, according to this story in Yahoo News:
BEIRUT (Reuters) - Hizbollah, Lebanon's most powerful party, threw its weight against Syria's opponents on Sunday, calling for a peaceful mass rally in central Beirut on Tuesday in support of Damascus and against Western meddling.
What isn't pointed out in the story is that by supporting Syria, Hezbollah has aligned itself with the country identified by an overwhelming majority of Lebanese as the agent responsible for the assassination of Rafiq Hariri, the widely popular former Lebanese prime minister.

It was the Hariri car-bomb murder that lead directly to the mass protests against Syria and its puppet Lebanese government. The puppet government resigned last week. Hezbollah may have sealed its fate by supporting the Syrians. Let's hope so.
