Muslim Violence Continues For Tenth Night in France

PARIS (AFP) - Violence around Paris and other French cities flared for a tenth consecutive night despite a vow by authorities to step up action against the youths responsible for the arson attacks, which appear to have become organized.

Paris prosecutor general Yves Bot told Europe 1 radio Saturday there was "organised violence," but did not say by whom.

"If I could give an exact answer, those people would already be under arrest," he said. "But we can see organised actions, a strategy."

Interior Minister Nicolas Sarkozy also had noted on Friday that the violence was "not spontaneous", but was, "well organized". It remains to be seen who is behind the organization.
