Media Slanders Hollywood Activists?

From contactmusic.com via the Drudge Report:
Movie-maker OLIVER STONE has blasted media groups who "slander" celebrities for their political comments - because intelligent stars have every right to question their leaders.

"We're Hollywood wackos and all that stuff, left-wing... (It's) an easy and facile dismissal."
At least in his own case, Oliver Stone has a point. Stone is more than just a "Hollywood wacko". He's also an off-the-wall conspiracy nut (JFK), and an admitted liar - Syracuse police never attacked peace activists, as Stone depicted them doing in the supposedly hisorically accurate "Born on the Fourth of July". Stone excused that slander as artistic license.

Oliver, not that the mainstream media are falling all over themselves to criticize the juvenile rantings of the pampered and ignorant Hollywood elite, but for those of us who do enjoy rubbing your faces in your stupidity...aren't we also guaranteed freedom of speech? Or is the Constitution only for those who agree with you?

You stupid, lying, leftwing, elitist, Hollywood jackass.
