Former Iranian Prez: I Agree With US Libs

If the message of former Iranian president Mohammad Khatami sounds familiar, it's because liberal Democrats have been spouting the same nonsense since the '04 elections.
NEW YORK -- On the eve of his first trip to Washington, former Iranian president Mohammad Khatami warned that U.S. military action in the Middle East has backfired, producing greater terrorism, imperiling the future of Iraq and damaging America's long-term interests.
In fact, Khatami is so simpatico with the current liberal orthodoxy, that Harvard University has invited him to speak:
Governor Mitt Romney declared yesterday he would not allow any state resources to be used to protect a former Iranian president during his visit to the Boston area this weekend, and he sharply criticized Harvard University for inviting Mohammed Khatami to speak on the eve of the fifth anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
Good for Romney; he knows who our enemies are, even if the liberal elites have decided to do their best Neville Chamberlain impression.

Meanwhile, Democrats, lead by weasels like Dick Durbin, one of the worst domestic enemies American servicepeople and the Constitution have, are busy seeking an American defeat by trashing Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld.

American "mainstream" liberals: coordinating a propaganda campaign with a representative of one of the most repressive and dangerous regimes on the planet.
