Ludicrous Lunacy From Across the Pond
The things I do for my readers.
Like sitting through the tedious 27 minutes and 53 seconds of "Ludicrous Diversion", which offers conclusive proof that paranoid conspiracy fantasies about terrorist attacks are not limited to imbeciles in the United States.
This video mysteriously appeared a few days ago on Google video, and a Brit who calls himself, appropriately enough, "The Fruitceller" has posted the video to YouTube in three parts. If you're feeling particularly masochistic, do go and view it.
Unbelievably, the 7/7 London Bombings conspiracy case laid out in this video is even weaker than the uneducated guesswork of the US "Truth Movement", which believes that 9/11 was a massive plot by the government (utterly demolished by Popular Mechanics here).
Here's the short version, which they could have laid out in a three minute video, instead of wasting 27 minutes and 53 seconds of my life: there is a massive conspiracy between the British government, the British mainstream press, the American government, the American mainstream press, and the Spanish government (cell phones were used to detonate the Spanish bombs, too - booga-booga-booga). In other words, only a few conspiracy bloggers are not in on the deal. The conspiracy' ultimate goal: total world domination! [cue menacing organ music]
This is typical of the statements made:
If this video were simply the product of a couple of teenagers who took "V For Vendetta" a little bit too seriously it wouldn't be so bad. But the fact is, "Ludicrous Diversion" is very slickly produced and professional in appearance. Let me indulge in my own conspiracy theory here: it was made by UK-based jihadis hoping to muddy the waters as much as possible, as the American "truthers" have attempted to do here.

"Even if these videos [jihadi suicide videos from two of the bombers] are genuine, they are not evidence that the men were responsible for the London bombings"Um, excuse me, but, yes they are. They show intent, and the presence of a conspiracy.
