Times Square Recruitment Station Target of IED

Times Square was disrupted in the wee hours this morning when someone detonated an improvised explosive device in front of a landmark Times Square recruiting station. Recruiters from all branches of the armed forces use the station.

From the Voice of America
A small explosive device damaged a military recruiting station in New York City's Times Square early Thursday.

Police say someone threw the device at the recruiting station several hours before dawn. The blast shattered a large portion of the building's front window, but no injuries were reported.
Not to jump the gun regarding this disgusting little bit of domestic terrorism, but:
The recruiting station is the site of regular anti-war protests, held since the start of the Iraq war in 2003.
I'm sure they support the troops, though.
