The Press, The Prez, and Hot Monkey Love

Phil Bronstein of SFGate advises Obama and the tingly-legged mainstream press to get a room:
So far, this is all about image and character and press "opportunities." But with what CNN financial reporter Elizabeth Cohen called this morning "gazillions of dollars" of our money at stake and crazy people with nukes bristling from around the edges of the world, we can't afford not to keep a closer eye on the substance thing.
It's probably too late. The death of real, ethical, unbiased journalism in America began during the Vietnam War. Coronating the most unqualified man ever as President, and covering his missteps, is just the latest symptom in the long decline.
