Hostage Rescued By Coalition Forces Near Tikrit

This terse press release has few details; it just notes that Task Force Liberty soldiers performed the rescue. It has also gone unreported by anyone in the mainstream media. Probably too much celebrity trial news to cover.
TIKRIT, Iraq – Task Force Liberty Soldiers rescued a hostage and detained two Iraqi men during a raid near Bayji about 11 p.m., March 16.

Soldiers from the 1st Brigade Combat Team conducted the raid to rescue the kidnap victim.
Apparently, you have to be a mentally retarded Italian communist propagandist for the press to take note of your rescue. Oh, and it's only worth mention if something goes horribly awry.
