Stockholm Syndrome Might Explain It

Medienkritik reports that recently released hostage Susanne Osthoff is apparently insane, based on a bizarre interview she gave to terrorist-medium-of-choice al Jazeera:

She described her captors as "poor people" and said that she "cannot blame them for kidnapping her, as they cannot enter [Baghdad's heavily fortified] Green Zone to kidnap Americans."

Mrs. Osthoff contemplates a return to Iraq in the near future (her subsequent kidnapping is a safe bet if terrorists are still not permitted to enter the Green zone).

This loon needs to be barred from Iraq.
