Permanent Iraqi Cabinet Approved

The Iraqi Parliament has approved a new permanent Iraqi Cabinet, setting the stage for what most people hope will be the final transition to Iraqi self-rule. Only the Iraqi terrorist insurgency and the American Left are hoping for further violence.

From MSNBC:
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Iraq’s parliament approved a national unity government on Saturday, achieving a goal the U.S. hopes will reduce widespread violence so that U.S. forces can eventually go home. But as the legislators met, at least 27 people were killed and dozens wounded in a series of attacks.
The Defense Minister and Interior Minister, both vital positions, are still temporary appointees.
