TORONTO -- The controversial new British film "Death of a President," shot in Chicago with a cast featuring many Chicago actors, made its world-premiere bow Sunday at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Director Gabriel Range's documentary-style speculative fiction deals with George W. Bush, his administration's post-9/11 policies and a war without clear resolution in sight. The film wonders what might happen if he was assassinated in October 2007 in the lobby of a downtown Chicago hotel.
