Iraqi Army Rescues 16 Hostages

From a CENTCOM press release:

BAGHDAD - An Iraqi Army patrol rescued 16 kidnap victims in the neighborhood of Mansour, Dec 22.

Members of the 1st Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment received information from a tip line and an Iraqi Army patrol moved to the specified location.

After searching a Mansour residence, Iraqi troops found two adult males, four adult females, and 10 children identified as hostages. All 16 victims were returned to safely to their homes later that evening.
