Boxer Rescinds Award to CAIR member

From the Los Angeles Times:
California Sen. Barbara Boxer has rescinded an award her office gave to a Sacramento Islamic activist after criticism that the group he represents—the Council for American Islamic Relations — holds extremist views and has ties to international terrorist organizations
Of course, from CAIR's point of view, it's all semantics. Just because Islamophobes in the US State Department choose to label organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas as "terrorist" is no reason for CAIR not to recognize the worthy acts accomplished by Hezbollah and Hamas...in between vicious, barbaric suicide attacks on innocent civilians.
