Channeling Tawana Brawley?

The story of the conservative Princeton student being beaten unconscious after receiving email death threats didn't get much coverage outside of The Princeton Tory, but, apparently, it was a hoax anyway.

From The New York Sun:

A student at Princeton University who said he was beaten unconscious by two black-clad assailants Friday has said that he fabricated the assault, and that he sent e-mail death threats to himself, three other Princeton students, and a prominent conservative professor at Princeton, Robert George, police said today.

If this report is true, this is despicable behavior, if not psychotic.

His injuries had been described as too serious to have been self-inflicted.

Update: The Princeton Tory reports that Francisco Nava had perpetrated a hoax while a student at the Groton School, writing "Die Fag" outside his room.
