David Frum Begs CJ to Return, But...

...Frum is a RAAAACIST!!!

David tries to woo Charles (Johnson, of Little Green Footballs, who has gone over to the dark side) back with a bit of poetry:
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ‘em up with worn-out tools;
Unfortunately for Frum, certainly Johnson, exquisitely, nay, excrutiatingly sensitive to racism, bigotry, jingoism and imperialism will recognize the work of *gasp* RUDYARD KIPLING*!

The same Rudyard Kipling who wrote this:
Take up the White Man's burden--
Send forth the best ye breed--
Go, bind your sons to exile
To serve your captives' need;
To wait, in heavy harness,
On fluttered folk and wild--
Your new-caught sullen peoples,
Half devil and half child.
Oh, the humanity.

* All kidding aside, their are hordes of imbeciles who refuse to take Kipling as a talented product of his time and place and insist upon injecting twenty-first century values into critiques of his work.
