Group Holding Peace Activists Linked to Violent Terrorist 'Army'

The shadowy terrorist group holding four members of the Christian Peacemakers Teams hostage in Iraq has been confirmed to be linked to the violent "Islamic Army in Iraq" (IAI). Videotapes of the hostages were uploaded to a hidden directory on an IAI website, indicating that the "Swords of Righteousness Brigades" is closely connected to the IAI.

Dr. Rusty Shackleford of The Jawa Report was the first to speculate about the connection in a post on November 29. Today, an article by the director of the SITE Institute was printed in the Canadian paper the National Post. Shackleford was not mentioned, though he had forwarded information of the connection to SITE.

This post at The Jawa Report explains the links between the Swords of Righteousness Brigades and the Islamic Army in Iraq.
