Another OJ-style Verdict: Moussaoui Gets Life

From MSNBC:
ALEXANDRIA, Va. - A federal jury rejected the death penalty for al-Qaida conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui on Wednesday and decided he must spend life in prison for his role in the deadliest terrorist attack in U.S. history.
The AP story above is somewhat misleading. In order for Moussaoui to be put to death, the jury had to be unanimous in that decision. Therefore, Moussaoui could have been given life as the result of a single holdout on the jury.
