It'll Be In "Talking Points" Tomorrow

Mickey Kaus, Slate's pet blogger, tips the liberal playbook for the post-Iraqi election era in his reaction column to the President's State of the Union address by almost completely avoiding any discussion of the foreign policy aspects of the speech.

No mention of the President's stern words for Iraq and Syria. No mention of the President's broad hint to restive Iranis that a regime change could be facilitated by the US. And, of course, absolutely no mention of the legislators sporting purple fingertips to salute the Iraqi voters.
