Reality Doesn't Matter to This Associated Press "Reporter"

This astounding headline appears today on an Associated Press story:
Iraq Insurgency Shows No Signs of Slowdown

BAGHDAD, Iraq - With the grim milestone of the 2,000th U.S. military death looming in Iraq, many wonder about the direction of the insurgency that killed most of them.
Somebody pinch me. Did the terrorist insurgency in Iraq not vow to completely disrupt the constitutional referendum? And did they not utterly fail to achieve that objective?

Then how to account for this AP story? Well, there is one way. You could look at the byline, "By HAMZA HENDAWI, Associated Press Writer". Then you could Google "Hamza Hendawi", read some of what he passes off as "journalism", and draw your own conclusions as to whether the AP has hired a jihadi sympathizer.
