Readers Come Through for Little Marine Ballerinas

Two days ago, I published this request for readers to donate to the little ballerinas of Camp Lejeune. Yesterday, Lauren Kelly-Hill posted this comment:

Thank you, thank you, thank you ALL! My dancers are thrilled and can hardly contain themselves. Yesterday, after you all posted the need on the Dread Pundit Bluto blog, we got over $700 in donations from you alone! We have met the December goal and are only $400 from the May recital costume fees! One of the donations came from a lady who was asking if the ballerinas would be getting flowers at the end of the recital... she had always wanted flowers at the end of her dance recitals - and never got any. So if we do get more money than we need, I will make sure that they have flowers the night of the show! Thank you all again. We will keep you updated and let you know when we have met our goal.
