Rumsfeld Turns Tables on Heckler

Former CIA analyst and radical anti-war activist Ray McGovern's plot to disrupt a Rumsfeld presentation yesterday in Atlanta fell apart when the Secretary of Defense not only engaged McGovern during a question and answer period, but stopped security personnel from removing him.

Two shrieking protestors had already been removed during the presentation, but Rumsfeld allowed McGovern his questions, delivered in the petulant and personally insulting tones an angry child, then countered the former bureaucrat point-by-point. It was obvious that McGovern had expected to be ejected and was unprepared for a debate; he had neither his facts nor his quotes straight.

Sometimes the best way to show a leftist up as an ass is to just let the leftist act like an ass.
