We R in Control*

Doubleplus ungood newspeak law proposed for Florida:
TALLAHASSEE -- A state legislator whose district is home to thousands of Caribbean immigrants wants to ban the term "illegal alien" from the state's official documents.

"I personally find the word 'alien' offensive when applied to individuals, especially to children," said Sen. Frederica Wilson, D-Miami. "An alien to me is someone from out of space."

She has introduced a bill providing that: "A state agency or official may not use the term 'illegal alien' in an official document of the state." There would be no penalty for using the words.

In Miami-Dade County, Wilson said, "we don't say 'alien,' we say 'immigrant.'"
Let's just cut to the chase and start calling illegal aliens "jefe" (boss).

Another Inconvenient Truth

Al Gore's household energy consumption:
Back home in Tennessee, safely ensconced in his suburban Nashville home, Vice President Al Gore is no doubt basking in the Oscar awarded to "An Inconvenient Truth," the documentary he inspired and in which he starred. But a local free-market think tank is trying to make that very home emblematic of what it deems Gore's environmental hypocrisy.

Armed with Gore's utility bills for the last two years, the Tennessee Center for Policy Research charged Monday that the gas and electric bills for the former vice president's 20-room home and pool house devoured nearly 221,000 kilowatt-hours in 2006, more than 20 times the national average of 10,656 kilowatt-hours.

"If this were any other person with $30,000-a-year in utility bills, I wouldn't care," says the Center's 27-year-old president, Drew Johnson. "But he tells other people how to live and he's not following his own rules."
I'm sure the former Veep offsets his family's blatant greedy piggishness with a healthy contribution to terraspass, or perhaps he'll sign up for my own alternative Green program.

How Green Do You Want To Be?

Radio host Glenn Beck notes today that Sunday's Oscar presenters had a very special "green" item included in their "goody bags." Each received a special dispensation from terrapass.com to reduce their annual "carbon footprint," measured in CO2 emissions, by 100,000 pounds.

That's fifty tons. According to bp's carbon footprint calculator, the average American's carbon footprint is 18 tons per year.

For a $159.00 donation to terrapass, celebrities and environmentally conscious little people can have their carbon footprints symbolically offset by contributing to one of terrapass's green programs.

We don't think that's enough. For $159.00, we will have one of our operatives put down a homeless person, eliminating their carbon footprint for what would have been the remainder of his or her natural life, thus significantly reducing America's total carbon footprint. There will, of course, be other environmental and aesthetic benefits to this program.

(For the benefit of the semi-retarded who may have stumbled through the preceding by sounding out the words and mumbling to themselves, this is satire.)

The ACLU, the MSM, and Kiddie Porn

Since the mainstream media, with the exception of ABC, has chosen to virtually ignore the story of the former ACLU chapter president arrested for possession of child pornography videotapes, here's a link to Stop the ACLU's roundup, and another link to a July, 2005 STACLU story detailing the ACLU's efforts to legalize child pornography.

Juror Dismissed in Libby Show Trial

One of the jurors in the trial of former White House aide Lewis "Scooter" Libby has been pulled off the jury by the judge. Libby is on trial for...well, no one's really sure, since the probe by special prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald revealed that no crime had been committed in the case of Valerie Plame.

Perhaps Fitzgerald had Libby indicted to demonstrate to taxpayers that his investigation had a purpose other than political propaganda for the Democrat Party.

From MSNBC:
U.S. District Judge Reggie B. Walton ordered the juror removed, saying "what she had exposure to obviously disqualifies her." The judge declined to say what information the juror had seen but characterized it as a misunderstanding. He has ordered jurors to avoid media coverage of the case.

Oscar Predictions

I have it on a tip from a third cousin whose friend talked to Ernest Borgnine's fluffer: the Academy is set to make a bold political statement tomorrow night. The Oscars in EVERY category will be awarded to Al Gore for his mockumentary, "An Inconvenient Truth."

In order to avoid charges of hypocrisy, the Glitterati will arrive at the ceremonies in a secretly manufactured fleet of Prius limousines. And it will be announced that next year, the stars' private jets will be replaced with dirigibles from the Green Airship Fleet, being constructed from recycled materials and powered by the farts of cattle, specially outfitted with airtight "diapers," designed to catch the precious gas before it escapes into the atmosphere.

This year will be known as the "Year Without Oscars," reminding people that the "Year Without Summer" was NOT caused by the explosion of the volcano Krakatoa, as reactionary revisionist historians would have it, but actually by the rise of steam engine technology, a fact which has been concealed by agents of the Bush family.

Democrats Plot Coup D'Etat

Surprising no one who has been paying attention to Democratic tactics, Senate Dems are quietly moving ahead with a scheme to usurp the power of the executive branch of government, under the guise of meddling in the Iraq theater of the war on terror.

From MSNBC:
WASHINGTON - Determined to challenge President Bush, Senate Democrats are drafting legislation to limit the mission of U.S. troops in Iraq, effectively revoking the broad authority Congress granted in 2002, officials said Thursday.

While these officials said the precise wording of the measure remains unsettled, one draft would restrict American troops in Iraq to combating al-Qaida, training Iraqi army and police forces, maintaining Iraq's territorial integrity, and otherwise proceeding with the withdrawal of combat forces.
Recognizing that to be effective, a military needs a commander-in-chief, not a steering committee, our Founding Fathers vested that power within the executive branch of government, with the President as the C-in-C.

Many of the Founding Fathers had classical educations. They were quite familiar with the fate of Athens, the world's first great experiment with democracy, whose citizens' and politicians' squabbling over the conduct of the Ionian phase of the Peloponnesian War led to their defeat.

Congressional Democrats are seeking to undermine the checks and balances built into the American Constitution, not for any noble purpose, but simply as part of their quest for power.

And yes, I do question their patriotism.

Tagged, Bluto Confidential

Having been "tagged" by Cookie at The Cookshack Gab & Grub to reveal six unknown and unusual things about myself, I've decided to spread the misery joy to some of my Jawa Report co-bloggers, listed at the end.

1) According to family lore, which I've never researched, I'm a descendant of the radical Abolitionist (and arguably, certifiable lunatic terrorist) John Brown, who was hanged in 1859 for treason against the state of Virginia, though John was never a citizen of Virginia.

2) My grandfather was born a Quaker in or near Hickory Hill, Pennsylvania. He ran away at sixteen and joined the British Merchant Marine, eventually becoming a ship's carpenter. He never returned to Hickory Hill, and his father cursed him from his deathbed for marrying outside the Society of Friends. I am thankful for gramps' rebellious spirit; I don't think I'd have done well as a backwoods Quaker.

3) My favorite tool, to which I have an indisputable emotional attachement, is thirteen inches long*.

4) I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, and have fought in many full-contact tournaments. There's just something about being allowed to punch and kick people without getting arrested...

5) I earned a New York State Regents scholarship in 1974, and used it to augment my alcohol intake during my "studies".

6) I have done two one-thousand-mile days on my Kawasaki Concours, both during a wild ride spanning most of Canada, while returing from a rally in Banff, Alberta.

Website Supports Accused Haditha Marine

Mark S. Zaid, attorney for Marine Staff Sergeant Frank Wuterich, emails to draw attention to a new website aimed at countering the slander and lies of people like the Honorable John Murtha (D-AQ), who seems determined to deny Wuterich and his fellow Marines a fair trial.

Zaid writes:
This is not a typical military case. It has become highly politicized and, in our opinion, these young Marines are being sacrificed for foreign policy reasons. Indeed, one of the first things Neal [Neal A. Puckett, co-counsel] and I did after I reviewed the facts of the case known at that time was to initiate, on August 2, 2006, a defamation lawsuit (which has no partisan agenda whatsoever) against Congressman John Murtha for incredibly inappropriate public statements he made that have already been proven by the government's alleged charges to be false. These statements created a further climate that contributed to the public pressures to file charges against our client.
Wuterich's site contains links to pretty much everything written about the Haditha case. With powerful enemies like unindicted Abscam co-conspirator John Murtha trying to railroad him, Frank can use all the help and support he can get.

More Associated Press Political Games

In a story headlined, "Cheney Slams Iraq Plan Advocated by Dems," the Associated Press doesn't bother to tell readers what the VP actually said until giving Nancy Pelosi the chance to hysterically bitch and moan about her "patriotism" being questioned.

The actual Cheney quote comes in the fifth paragraph, after four paragraphs of Nancy's illogical ranting:
"I think if we were to do what Speaker Pelosi and Congressman Murtha are suggesting, all we will do is validate the al-Qaida strategy," the vice president told ABC News. "The al-Qaida strategy is to break the will of the American people ... try to persuade us to throw in the towel and come home, and then they win because we quit."
It's hard to see how this justifies the frantic posturing of Pelosi, but frantic posturing is all Pelosi has to offer. The real question is: why is the Associated Press trying to get the average reader (who will not read as far as the fifth paragraph) to believe that the Veep questioned her patriotism?

Calling a Spade a Spade

Ralph Peters, in the New York Post:
PROVIDING aid and comfort to the enemy in wartime is treason. It's not "just politics." It's treason.

And signaling our enemies that Congress wants them to win isn't "supporting our troops."

The "nonbinding resolution" telling the world that we intend to surrender to terrorism and abandon Iraq may be the most disgraceful congressional action since the Democratic Party united to defend slavery.

The vote was a huge morale booster for al Qaeda, for Iraq's Sunni insurgents, and for the worst of the Shia militias.

The message Congress just sent to them all was, "Hold on, we'll stop the surge, we're going to leave - and you can slaughter the innocent with our blessing."
Peters does not, however, believe that the treason in Congress will lower American troops' morale, though the political quislings won't take much comfort from his reasoning:
And a word about those troops: It's going to come as a shock to the massive egos in Congress, but this resolution won't hurt morale - for the simple reason that our men and women in uniform have such low expectations of our politicians that they'll shrug this off as business as usual.

Rep. Johnson Shames Murtha and the Dems

Sam Johnson, Republican representative from Texas, flew more than 90 missions over Korea and Vietnam, and spent seven years as a POW in Hanoi. Johnson remembers what Jack Murtha has forgotten, the consequences of Congress abandoning Americans and their allies in the field (if Murtha ever knew it in the first place; his Abscam behavior indicates maybe he didn't).

Most of the Democrats stayed out of the House chamber for Johnson's speech. Apparently, they can't handle the truth.

Wiesel Attacker Arrested

Police have made an arrest in the recent attack on Elie Wiesel:
SAN FRANCISCO - A man accused of roughing up Nobel laureate and Holocaust scholar Elie Wiesel at a San Francisco hotel earlier this month was arrested Saturday, authorities said.

Montgomery Township police arrested Eric Hunt, 22, of Sussex County, N.J., at 7:30 a.m. EST Saturday. He faces charges that include attempted kidnapping, false imprisonment, elder abuse, stalking, battery and the commission of a hate crime, according to San Francisco police.
Hunt had apparently posted details of the attack on the anti-Semitic website ZioPedia, but police so far say that Hunt was acting alone.

Authorities Avoid 'Terrorism' in Salt Lake City Shootings

We may never know if Sulejman Talovic was motivated by Islamist terrorism. Salt Lake City and Federal authorities are apparently taking a see-no-evil approach to the investigation. That means they have failed to check his computer for jihadi website history. In fact, they didn't even bother to examine his computer at all.

Read this post by Dr. Rusty Shackleford at The Jawa Report for a discussion of what authorities are avoiding in their investigation, including the possibility that Talovic's cousin sent allegedly anthrax-laced letters to the governor of Connecticutt, the Coast Guard, and the Marines.

Senate Stopped From Betraying Country, For Now

Senate Democrats fell four votes short of passing a resolution to provide aid and comfort to terrorist insurgents in Iraq. This is the same resolution that Dems were able to pass in the House.

From MSNBC:
WASHINGTON - The Senate gridlocked on the Iraq war in a sharply worded showdown on Saturday as Republicans foiled a Democratic attempt to rebuke President Bush over his deployment of 21,500 additional combat troops.

The vote was 56-34. That was four short of the 60 needed to advance the measure, which is identical to a nonbinding resolution that Democrats pushed through the House on Friday.
The Democratic Party has decided its political hopes lie in open treason; the political defeat of the US in Iraq.

Only four Senators stand between them and the first step in their goal.

Interview With a Vampire

Self-proclaimed "Independent Left Journalist" Robert Lindsay writes to inform us that he has interviewed neo-Nazi sympathizer Andrew Winkler, fuehrer of the Holocaust denial website ZioPedia. The site has been linked to the recent attack on Elie Wiesel.

After Winkler confirms that Lindsay helped inspire the name for his website, Lindsay conducts the sort of sympathetic, softball interview that a Jew-hater can expect from the Left.

House Set to Betray America

In a cynical political move, House Democrats are set to pass a non-binding resolution that will overjoy America's enemies while demoralizing her troops. The Democratic Party has become so invested in American defeat that they see President Bush's troop surge in Iraq as a threat to their political interests:
The Democratic-controlled House was set to vote late on Friday on a symbolic resolution supporting U.S. forces in Iraq but opposing the Republican president's decision to send another 21,500 troops.

"Congress has a right to express its views," White House spokesman Scott Stanzel said. Bush was holding his fire, prepared to fight any subsequent effort by lawmakers to cut funding for the war.
The resolution is the first step in a Democratic scheme to defund the Iraq theater of the War on Terror, paving the way for a humiliating American defeat and withdrawal that can then be blamed on Bush and the Republicans.

Nor' Easter

The snow that's been falling for most of the night and all morning here in Central New York looks like sugar; small flakes, but a lot of them. Lake effect snow off Lake Ontario tends to be bigger and wetter, so the stuff we're getting now doesn't clog up the snowblower the way lake effect does, but there is a lot of it.

I blame Mcbushitlerburton. If only they'd abide by the Kyoto protocols. Who ever heard of a snowstorm dumping two or three feet of snow in Upstate New York in February?

Professional assclown and head of the Mahdi Army Muqtada al-Sadr has fled to Iran, afraid of the coming US troop surge:
WASHINGTON - Anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr fled Iraq for Iran ahead of a security crackdown in Baghdad and the arrival of 21,500 U.S. troops sent by President Bush to quell sectarian violence, a senior U.S. official said Tuesday.

Al-Sadr left his Baghdad stronghold some weeks ago, the official said, and is believed to be in Tehran, where he has family. The official, speaking on condition of anonymity to discuss U.S. monitoring activities, said fractures in al-Sadr's political and militia operations may be part of the reason for his departure. The move is not believed to be permanent, the official said.

More Dishonest 'Reporting' From the AP

It's the headline and the lead paragraph that get the message out. The folks at the Associated Press know this as well as anyone.

From the headline and beginning of this story it appears that General Peter Pace, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, is in open mutiny against civilian authority:
U.S. general: No evidence Iran is arming Iraqis
Pace contradicts claims by other U.S. military, administration officials

JAKARTA, Indonesia - A top U.S. general said Tuesday there was no evidence the Iranian government was supplying Iraqi insurgents with highly lethal roadside bombs, apparently contradicting claims by other U.S. military and administration officials.
Wow. But what did Pace really say?
“That does not translate that the Iranian government per se, for sure, is directly involved in doing this,” Pace told reporters in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta. “What it does say is that things made in Iran are being used in Iraq to kill coalition soldiers.”
The AP editorialist (masquerading as a reporter) goes on to say:
His remarks might raise questions on the credibility of the claims of high-level Iranian involvement, especially following the faulty U.S. intelligence that was used to justify the invasion of Iraq in 2003.
Perhaps the AP hack is referring to this sort of faulty intelligence?

Norks to Give up Nukes?

From the Associated Press:
BEIJING - North Korea agreed Tuesday after arduous talks to shut down its main nuclear reactor and eventually dismantle its atomic weapons program, just four months after the communist state shocked the world by testing a nuclear bomb.

Under the deal, the North would receive initial aid equal to 50,000 tons of heavy fuel oil for shutting down and sealing its main nuclear reactor and related facilities at Yongbyon, north of the capital, within 60 days, to be confirmed by international inspectors.
Has sanity suddenly come to Kim Jong-il? Even if the deal is real, don't expect the Democrats or their partners in the Press to give the Bush administration credit.

EU Report: Iran Bomb Unstoppable Through Dipomacy

An internal European Union report says that Iran has continued to pursue its nuclear program with total disregard for diplomatic pressure.

From the Financial Times:
“At some stage we must expect that Iran will acquire the capacity to enrich uranium on the scale required for a weapons programme,” says the paper, dated February 7 and circulated to the EU’s 27 national governments ahead of a foreign ministers meeting yesterday.

“In practice...the Iranians have pursued their programme at their own pace, the limiting factor being technical difficulties rather than resolutions by the UN or the International Atomic Energy Agency.

“The problems with Iran will not be resolved through economic sanctions alone.”
Why anyone thought that a regime that has flouted diplomatic conventions since its birth would suddenly emerge from barbarism is not discussed.

Aussie PM: Obama and Dems Best Hope For Al Qaeda

Of course, he was only stating the obvious.

From the Gray Whore, Australian prime minister John Howard explains the problem with Obama's "plan" to withdraw all US troops on March 31, 2008:
In a television interview in Australia, Mr. Howard said the senator’s redeployment plan would simply inspire insurgent violence in Iraq.

“If I were running Al Qaeda in Iraq,” Mr. Howard said, “I would put a circle around March 2008 and be praying as many times as possible for a victory not only for Obama but also for the Democrats.”
Obama responded by mocking the number of Australian troops in Iraq.

Saddam's al Qaeda Connection

It's de rigeur now for the Left to deny any collusion whatsoever between the late, unlamented Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden. Power Line has unearthed an embarrassing video from 1999, when Clinton was President and the mainstream media were not yet openly disloyal to America:

Frantic MoveOn Petition Brands NPR, PBS as Partisan

If a reactionary propaganda group thinks an organization is a paragon of "independent journalism," that's a pretty clear indication that it isn't even close. National Public Radio and the Public Broadcast System have picked up the enthusiastic and frantic support of MoveOn.org, America's largest collection of Leftist nutbags.

From a MoveOn.org member email (never mind how I got this; Bluto mucks through the latrines of the fever swamps so you don't have to):
Dear MoveOn member,

Since Thursday afternoon, 370,018 of us have called on Congress to stop President Bush's budget cuts and save NPR and PBS. 370,000 of us in just 36 hours!

Can you help make it half a million signatures? Here's what the petition says: "Congress must save NPR and PBS once and for all. Congress should guarantee permanent funding and independence from partisan meddling." Just click here to add your name:

[I've replaced the actual link with something more appropriate - Bluto]

Every additional signer will mean more pressure on Congress to block this cut and make sure this kind of partisan meddling never happens again. President Bush cannot be allowed to slash strong journalism and shows like "Sesame Street."

We've won this fight before. Together, we can make sure we never have to confront this issue again.

Thanks,

–Noah, Joan, Carrie, Marika and the MoveOn.org Civic Action Team
Saturday, February 10th, 2007

By "strong journalism" the nimrods at Moveon mean "grossly biased in favor of the progressive movement in general and the Democratic party in particular." Also notice that the first thing PBS threatens to cut is "Sesame Street." Typical of liberals who are all for the children unless they see a way to use the children as a weapon.

WaPo Lefties Blow Page One Story - Misquote Pentagon IG Report

Actually, "misquote" doesn't cover what happened here. The quotes in this article attributed to a Pentagon Inspector General's report were actually made by Democratic Senator Carl Levin, one of the "patriots" most eager for an American defeat in Iraq.

This would be like allowing jihadis to write wire service stories. Oh wait, AP and Reuters are already doing that. Well then, it would be like claiming that NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, and PBS don't have a gross liberal bias...wait, congressional Democrats are already doing that.

Gee, I guess it's like, par for the course.

The Washington Post has issued a correction. They'd be better off retracting the entire article as almost all of the "quotes" were completely wrong.

Elie Wiesel Attacked by Neo-Nazi

This article calls Wiesel's assailant a "Holocaust-denier," but the difference is academic, at best:
SAN FRANCISCO - In a bizarre attack, a well-known author and Holocaust scholar was dragged out of a San Francisco hotel elevator by an apparent Holocaust denier who reportedly had been trailing him for weeks.

In a posting Tuesday on the anti-Zionist Web site ZioPedia, a writer using the name Eric Hunt takes credit for the attack: “After ensuring no women would be traumatized by what I had to do (I had been trailing Wiesel for weeks), I stopped the elevator at the sixth floor. I pulled Wiesel out of the elevator. I said I wanted to interview him.”
The Ziopedia site is down. You can view their Google-cached front page here. The authors include Australians, Germans, and Islamists, and the stories listed have charming subjects like claiming that Jewish Blood Libel is true (Jews drink the blood of Gentile babies), the Holocaust never happened, and it's perfectly justified for brave jihadi babyhunters to murder any Jews they can get their hands on.

They also run the full complement of anti-American Iraq war propaganda so beloved of our loyal opposition on the Leftard wing of the Democratic party.

One hopes that this website is down due to government action. Though the Whois information lists Andrew Winkler of Australia as the registering party, the site is hosted in Virginia. Nice to know this seemy collection of maniacs has a domestic component.

Brit Muslim Textbooks Describe Jews and Christians as 'Apes' and 'Pigs'

The Religion of Peace in the UK:
The principal of an Islamic school has admitted that it uses textbooks which describe Jews as "apes" and Christians as "pigs" and has refused to withdraw them.

Dr Sumaya Alyusuf confirmed that the offending books exist after former teacher Colin Cook, 57, alleged that children as young as five are taught from racist materials at the King Fahd Academy in Acton.

In an interview on BBC2's Newsnight, Dr Alyusuf was asked by Jeremy Paxman whether she recognised the books.

She said: "Yes, I do recognise these books, of course. We have these books in our school. These books have good chapters that can be used by the teachers. It depends on the objectives the teacher wants to achieve."
On the other hand, they apparently mean "apes" and "pigs" in a nice way. Alyusuf said that the passages have been "misinterpreted."

Update: A new animal enters the religious menagerie. The weasel. Alyusuf is interviewed a little over four minutes into this YouTube video. First she claims the translations are incorrect, that they're not interpreted correctly, that the verses have to be read in Arabic to get the true meaning, that the verses are taken out of context...

BAGHDAD, Iraq (AP) - Gunmen wearing Iraqi army uniforms seized an Iranian diplomat as he drove through central Baghdad, officials said Tuesday. Tehran blamed the United States for the abduction, which threatened to raise already sharp tensions between the two rivals.

One Iraqi government official also said the Iranian diplomat was detained Sunday by a special Iraqi army unit that reports directly to the U.S. military. But a military spokesman denied any U.S. troops or Iraqis that report to them were involved.
More likely, this was just a convenient way for the Iranian to avoid suspicion while meeting with jihadi terrorist co-conspirators.

Another Heretic Challenges the Gobal Warming Orthodoxy

Dr. Timothy Ball, a retired University of Winnipeg climatology professor, is calling shenanigans on the Global Warming movement:
Believe it or not, Global Warming is not due to human contribution of Carbon Dioxide (CO2). This in fact is the greatest deception in the history of science. We are wasting time, energy and trillions of dollars while creating unnecessary fear and consternation over an issue with no scientific justification. For example, Environment Canada brags about spending $3.7 billion in the last five years dealing with climate change almost all on propaganda trying to defend an indefensible scientific position while at the same time closing weather stations and failing to meet legislated pollution targets.
Dr. Ball believes that current trends indicate we may soon enter a cycle of global cooling. He considers these cycles natural and outside the control of technology.

Fair Warning: the link for Dr. Ball's article has some of the most obnoxious popup ads ever.

Yes, Mr. Beck, Joe Biden Is a Racist

The other day radio and television personality Glenn Beck made the argument that Senator Joe Biden (D-DE) cannot be called racist on the basis of this exchange with a reporter from the New York Observer:
BIDEN: "I mean, you got the first sort of ... mainstream African American..."

REPORTER: "Yeah."

BIDEN: "... who is articulate and bright and ... and clean and a nice-looking guy..."

REPORTER: "Mmm."

BIDEN: "... I mean, that's a storybook, man."
Not surprisingly, Biden's clumsy statement brought immediate charges of racism.

Glann Beck, like most everyone else, focused on the adjectives "bright" and "clean," and then Beck made the case (quite well, actually) that Biden's entire public record must be examined. Beck compared Biden's statement to that of Trent Lott, who was hounded out of public office by the press after basically wishing Strom Thurmond a happy birthday.

And Beck would be correct, if those had been the parts of Biden's statement that reveal innate racism on Biden's part.

But they're not. The word that indicts Biden, and a large percentage of the liberal community, is "mainstream." Any honest definition of the word as applied to politics includes all those individuals who don't fall too far away from the center of a liberal-conservative political scale.

Unless, that is, the individual is an African-American. African-Americans are not allowed, in liberal circles, to be considered "mainstream" if their politics fall right of center. Liberals assert that African-Americans' political interests lie in supporting the Left (despite forty years of political three-card Monte designed to keep African-Americans down in the ghetto) and that any African-American who holds conservative views is outside the mainstream.

Telling individuals what their political views must be on the basis of those individuals' race cannot be considered anything other than racism.

That, Mr. Beck, is why Joe Biden is a racist.

Muslim Leader: Brits Are Nazis

Following the arrests of nine British Muslims accused of plotting to kidnap British Muslim soldiers and film their beheadings, Mohammad Naseem is accusing British authorities of creating a police state.

No kidding. He even says that British Muslims are being treated like Jews in Nazi Germany.

From Agence France Presse:
"The country is moving toward a police state. That's not right. We have to change this," he said inside the mosque, where some 2,000 Muslims gathered for weekly Friday prayers.

"We can change this for the better by coming together, not by coming apart. .. Remain calm, don't get angry. Anger is a natural emotion, but Muslims should control it. We must never give way to anger," he said...

"The German people were told the Jews were a threat. The same thing is happening here. The Muslims are now the bogey people," he said. "It's a small community. It's easy to pick on them. That's what's being done."
Did radical Jews really march in the streets of Berlin carrying signs like this?

Black Five Blogger Lays Into Arkin on Fox

Matt from Blackfive discusses the Washington Post's world-class assclown and traitor Michael Crook William Arkin, who believes that America's troops are overpaid idiots too stupid to understand the nuances of being insulted by parasitical, cowardly quislings like...William Arkin.

Foreign Terrorists Convicted in Iraq

Boston Prank Suspects Video

At a press conference, Boston prank suspects Peter Berdovsky and Sean Stevens (both in their twenties and at that stage where they still believe nothing bad will ever happen to them) clown with reporters about hair.

Diary of a Mad Assclown

Absolutely unbelievable.

The Washington Post's resident assclown, William M. Arkin, takes American troops to task for venting their frustration with public criticism of the Iraqi theater of the War on Terror, as reported by NBC's Richard Engel. Arkin is of the opinion that these soldiers should just shut up and die without questioning the people, like Arkin himself, who daily provide aid and comfort to those trying to kill them.

No, I won't excerpt any of Arkin's crap. But I will excerpt one of the comments Arkin's mental diarrhea provoked:
Mr. Arkin,

I'll be on my way to Iraq soon. I'd like you to know that I'll be thinking about you when I'm over there. You know why? Because I'll be over there protecting your right to insult me. And you know what? I volunteered to do it, knowing full well what it would mean. It really hurts when people like you are so ungrateful for everything you have been given in exchange for my brothers' and sisters' blood, but you don't have to worry! We'll keep doing it, despite you and your kind. That's because we know we're doing the right thing, and it makes our lives worth living and worth sacrificing. So feel free to continue on typing your disgusting, hateful lies, because you're safe.
